I'd say you got a good deal! These things seem to be as rare as hen's teeth. At least that's been my experience between reactions to mine at the range and looking for information for one on Google. I found one on-line classified ad for a .50 cal. The guy wanted $650 for it!

I have a CVA Express double rifle in .54 cal. I bought it from my brother-in-law for $250 15 years ago. It was too much for him. I love it! Even though I've had it for so long, I haven't had it out much. I'm still not the best shot with it. I'm getting there though!
