If this is familiar, I also posted on the Accurate Reloading site. I made a trade for a CVA Express Double rifle. Its 50 caliber and looks unfired. Its in great shape except for the wedge pin that the isnt flush. The dealer got it in trade, he thinks the pin may be slightly bent and can probably be strightened. Its a straight grip. The lock plates are engraved with a bear. Theres a single adjustable rear sight. Its marked CVA Express--50 caliber--Spain. When I first saw it I thought it might have been a CVA import from Pedersoli; but the "Spain" has me confused. The dealer got it in a trade and doesnt know anythink more about it. Theres no manual. Im not sure where to start with loads, or if I should start with patched ball or conicals. I got it for about $400 in trade. Did I get a good deal? Does anybody have any experience with them? Any ideas or suggestions? |
