Excellent! Before my father passed away he had a couple of fur trade era rifles made for him. He'd been a competitive shooter for most of the earlier portion of his life. He was a lefty. It wasn't until after he'd died that I realized that the custom rifles he'd had made were set up for a right handed shooter. I've had great times with his rifles and think of him every time I look at them. My little seven month old daughter -really- likes his full stocked fifty caliber plains rifle. I'll leave it resting across the rail of her crib so she can run her tiny hands over the dark tiger maple stock and browned iron furniture and lockwork. She'll fall off to sleep with her hand on the wrist of it's stock. Shooting black powder muzzle loading rifles is great fun. They're great in the field too, and that new inline rig should be wonderful in terms of accuracy and terminal performance. Have fun with it! --Tinker |
