It does have a tight bore, but not bad. I bought a Tee handle to aid in loading, and that help quit a bit. The gun is stone simple, which is what I like. The only thing I do not like is the fact that the bolt touches the primer when closed, so you can't keep it primed until ready to fire for safety reasons. However, I have devised a device that allows you to safely keep the primer in and the bolt down. Simply place two patches wadded up over the primer. Keeps water out and primer safe. Also a foam ear plug will do the the same. When ready to shoot remove the covering, takes a split second. I'm just amazed hoe accurate it is and it only cost $69.00 NEW! Colorado |
