I'm new to the forum, so I'm just saying howdy. Also I
just ordered the Kodiak Express in 72 cal. I've loved doubles and black powder for years, so I've combined them.
I know its been asked a zillion times before, but has any one shot one of these? What is the max load it can take. I've been told that the factory recommends no more them 80 grains and a round ball. But the thing has to be able to take more than that right? Has any one taken any heavy game with one? I've read a couple articals and pages from people have modified the 50cal version, but nothing on the 72 cal.

Also I see on the factory web site that there is a Safari version in 72 cal. whats the difference between them?
