After cleaning,lubing your BP ML, what do you do before using it, loading it? I assume the oil needs a patch put through it to remove any excess oil? Or not needed?

If you can't clean your BP gun straight away,nodes squirting some WD40, bore solvent, gun oil down the barrels, through the nipples, help at all? I suppose it doesn't hurt. What would you do as a minimum? Until proper cleaning can be done.
