Tarawa, I've used 54's for.....35+ years, maybe more. My loads for a half dozen rifles has always been 60 grs. of Ffg, .020 patch and .530 RB for matches and just plinking. Hunting load was either 80 or 100 grs. of Ffg and the same patch/ball combination.
