I found these paper ctgs. solved a very real problem with the special weapon's moose hunt here in B.C. some years back. Oft times, the temperature would be -30 to -45 - most patch lubes are stiff/hard in those temperatures, so finding one that would work, was difficult. The paper ctgs. solved that problem and I found I could shoot up to 10 without accuracy falling off nor loading getting difficult. I found the size needed, is a snug fit in the rifling, requiring a choked up rod to get them started. After that, down they went, quite easily. I used no lube on them, but others have. |
