with the "h" in Smith having the identical appearance to the one on this rifle's box. Indeed, it is pretty close to a bench copy of a rifle made by A Verner in 1790 - & IT'S MINE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!. Note - God willing, this will be one of Taylor's "winning rifles" at Hefley this year. They almost always grace the winner's circle. It is a small event, though, with only about 150 competitors. If I do not do well with it, I'll have to cheat and use my 14 bore rifle, another of "his".
