Hi Guys - I bought this last weekend and thought it might interest some 14 bore rifle, 24" barrels, made by Castinne Renette, "Arquebusier to Kings/Emperors", specifically Napoleon III, in the 1850s, the equivalent of Purdey's etc in England?? ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() Nice "Wire Twist" best quality for the time. Bayonet/sword/pigsticker bar? apparently common on continental rifles? ![]() Stock is nice, since oiled! ![]() ![]() Refurbished, a little too much for the engraving ![]() ![]() Maker, plus 2 sights 100 + 200/ Metres? ![]() Bores NEED A CLEAN!, 1 turn in 48 ish, Round Ball or Minie? - Daryl? I assume it would be for driven game boar/deer/bear??? Comments please - Kuduae/Lancaster - anyone TH44 |
