French O/U rifle

Hi Guys - I bought this last weekend and thought it might interest some

14 bore rifle, 24" barrels, made by Castinne Renette, "Arquebusier to Kings/Emperors", specifically Napoleon III, in the 1850s, the equivalent of Purdey's etc in England??

Nice "Wire Twist" best quality for the time. Bayonet/sword/pigsticker bar? apparently common on continental rifles?

Stock is nice, since oiled!

Refurbished, a little too much for the engraving

Good quality locks

Maker, plus 2 sights 100 + 200/ Metres?

Bores NEED A CLEAN!, 1 turn in 48 ish, Round Ball or Minie? - Daryl?

I assume it would be for driven game boar/deer/bear???

Comments please - Kuduae/Lancaster - anyone
