Just saw that Cabelas has the Pietta .44cal. 1851 Navy civilian model on sale for $199

My brother has one of these and I have a .36cal Navy of the same make.
The .44 is actually lighter feeling, I think because the barrels are dimensionally the same so more weight is taken away with the .44 bore. The .44 cylinder is flared out on the .44 but I would think weighs about the same as the .36.
It also has the nickled backstrap and bottom strap and looks really sharp.
Definitely worth checking out at that price IMO.
