Thank you for taking the time to take and post more pictures of this very interesting example. I like the robustness of this early box-lock design. The inner workings appear to have held up well over the years as evidenced by the crispness of the tumblers and sears. Proper hardening and tempering of these components as well as the springs is key to their longevity so I smile and marvel at the expertise of these master craftsmen. An artful, interesting and fun specimen for sure.

PS - By chance when you were taking pictures did you take any of the trigger set and side-plates? I'll blame the latter question on my seemingly endless curiosity.
