Dan - what about Black Mag 3? I was using it in the M71 Mauser (.450 Alaskan chamber), 20" barrel, with reasonably good results - 525gr. at 1,375fps with only 80gr. Yeah- the 5 1/2 pound carbine jumped a bit.
