I also feel as if most "modern guns" just don't have the level of TLC that the old muzzleloaders had. That's not universal, but generally it's that way.
Now, I for one, encourage any kind of shooting that burns powder or propels lead. From Match locks to machine guns.

I am not "married" to only one form, but the old guns have a feel and look to them that is unique, and I love it.
That's why I make them.
