I have tried a few of these CZs..always went back to my original B-mauser from 1913...much slicker action, much more dependable in the controlled feed. However..the CZs does require some work so get to achief the best mauser standard for sure...but it can be done. IF however I should choose, because I had a choice I`LL take the pre-64 at anytime. Not because of nostalgia, but because it is a better gun by a mile. I have a pre-64 from 46s and it is actually a slight better than some of my original mausers in action slickness. I would love to find and original supergrade in .300 H&H.

Regardless of what..there is a reason so many knowledged gunbuffs swear to the pre-winnie..and it cannot be nostalgia/patroistism all of it
