The ones at SARCO are both 96 action and 98 action. You are more likely to find a 96. I, like 9ThreeXFifty7, have both action types. Both are very light compared to the typical US sporters. The Euro guns are for real field carry and hunting. It seems that weight is kept to a minimum. Maybe because so many rifles in the US don't ever really make it past a shooting bench at the range or a rest in a blind. If you need to hoof it through real wilderness, fields and hills, the light weight is very appreciated. Even my three barrel drillings don't tip a 7 pound scale. 9.3X57 is a great hunter caliber. |
