.270 Winchester, .30-'06, 7X57mm, 7X64mm, 8X64S, 8X57mm, 9.3X62mm, or 10.75X68mm cal. large ring Mauser 98 action with 20mm dovetails on receiver ring and bridge, single trigger, hinged floorplate, rollover type safety, and bolt handle designed for low scope mounting, 23 1/2" barrel, checkered, pistol grip walnut stock with sling swivels and Schnabel forend, approximate serial range is 0-20,000, mfg. and exported world-wide between 1956-1962. Early specimans are marked BRNO MADE IN CZECHKOSLOVAKIA.
