Just finished doing two Siamese conversions, and your issues come as no surprize. Ejection problems could be related to the bolt face, the extractor, the ejector mechanism, or all of the above. The feeding issue could be related to the action rails, the magazine box, the follower, the feed ramp, the extractor, or all of the above. I had to alter/tweek everything mentioned to achieve reliability. These conversions are not as easy as some suggest.
