Barrel is engraved "Holland & Holland, 98, New Bond Street, London". On the barrel knox also engraved " Holland's 240 "APEX" Rimmless Cartridge " plus proof marks and "240 2.50 COR.MKI34-100Max".

Underside of Barrel is stamped "SH" with "829" underneath and then "13974".

The receiver on the underside is marked "829". Just behind the recoil are a number of symbols and "28". Receiver is also stamped "829" just behind the front scope base.....there may be more stamped beneath the scope base however I don't want to remove it for fear of damage.

Bolt is marked "829" as is the extractor collar.

Triggerguard is also engraved "829" on the bow.

Flag safety on bolt cocking piece is marked "SAFE" in gold.

Action, trigger.....all very smooth. Trigger looks factory modified to single stage.....sear highly polished and trigger reprofiled to nest in bow of guard. Parts marked "89".

Dark rust blue finish on all components except sear. Inside rails have been polished bright.
