I've also thought of .33 Winchester, although the original chamber would not clean up. .45-70 cases sized in a .33 Winchester die and neck sized to 8mm go right in the chamber.

Maybe I'll end up with a wildcat .338 based on the Siamese case. (The .33 Winchester used a .338" bullet, which would be an advantage as far as bullet availability is concerned.)
