Further update to the David Gentry story. When I asked him if he could make me a bolt assembly for my Ackley, he casually replied "yes, that should not be a problem". I almost jumped out of my chair. After all these years, finally someone willing to build what I want. I got a quote from him and it is very reasonable at ą $600 US to include bolt body, extractor, shroud, cocking piece, firing pin, 3-position safety and fitting to my receiver. I am sending the piece off today. I should have it in hand in a month or so.

He builds his own M98 pattern actions as a basis for his custom guns so building my bolt is "business as usual" for him.
