you can still build a serviceable Lott on a standard length action, a True Magnum length action is NOT required, there are many such guns in this calibre on the standards 98 action giving sterling service.

The magazine well will need opening from the standard length to accept the longer rounds but done properly and without taking too much material from behind the front bolt lugs no real problems should be encountered.

Bottom metal to suit the Lott round can be obtained from Prechtl in Germany or Ted Blackburn in the U.S
