Hi Lee; I have been led to believe that all the standard lenght, large ring 98 parts are usaully interchangeable, the difference is the bolt face + extractor + magazine well etc. have to opened up from a standard cartridge to a magnum. Since have a bolt just try it if it works go from there, unless it is a custom made action it should work. I would think the main criteria would be that the locking lugs engage the action properly - probably a job for a good smithy. --- John303
