Yes, it is almost identical to the rifle in the first link, so not built on the earlier Mauser action.

It has barrel mounted swivel, no cut out on the LHS of the receiver... not sure about whether it has the modified flag safety. I think they were the last of the 640 series and had the swivels mounted in the stock.

Husky 640's seem to go for $A750-$1200 depending on condition and calibre in Australia... when you can find them!

Pretty much ANYTHING in 9,3x62 is rare in Australia...

Yes, seen a few interesting rifles advertised in NZ too, but what has always stopped me is the cost and time involved in getting it through all the red tape!

Did you use a freight forwarder and customs agent?
How was the process and what were the costs involved?
