"Bolt action rifle "The Sculpture"
caliber 500 Jeffrey
Bolt action rifle in caliber 500 Jeffrey, the most powerful caliber in the world for a bolt action rifle with 10,000 kg impact energy.
Unique creation: Finest big game scenes in steel cut engraving with focussed, concentrated view alternate with animals of the Savannah engraved in 24 carat massive gold in relief, with three dimensional steel carvings on top, all created by one master engraver.
It is very rare that one single engraver is a master in many engraving techniques. The engraver that created this masterpiece believes in Peter Hofer's ideals and followed his vision to create this absolutely realistic and plastic three dimensional engraving. This engraving technique is called steel cut and only a handful of engravers in the world are still capable of this technique, it is the crowning glory.
A unique bolt action rifle such as the world has never seen before.
Designed and handcrafted by Peter Hofer - Austria Technical conception and engravings legally protected"

Personally, I feel that the snake shaped bolt handle and croc + hippo squarebridges is taking it rather too far. And brings to mind that over-engraved Blaser doublerifle made for the UAE minister (Hamad?). Kind of like a rifle version of MTVs "Pimp my ride"...
But still, it's definately unusual and interesting.
