I agree. I prefer a little subtlety in these things. It's always hard to choose a stock, esp for someone else but I really enjoyed making the selection for Mark's rifle. Eugene & I must have spent the better part of a day looking over various stock blanks.

I didn't get a choice for the .404 stock as it had already been built for the original purchaser. - who never had the chance to collect it......

It only took the SA Central Firearms Register people 2 weeks to process the paperwork but when I went to collect it yesterday, the permit had been signed by the wrong official.... and the bloody computer doesn't allow a second copy to be printed! - Hopefully, they'll get it sorted out today. - Ah well, I guess these things happen in Africa.......
