WESTLEY RICHARDS .318 ACCELERATED EXPRESS BOLT-MAGAZINE SPORTING RIFLE, serial no. 40189, for 1919, 26in. nitro five-stage barrel (pitted), engraved 'WESTLEY RICHARDS & CO. LONDON.', standing notch rear sight with two folding leaves and adjustable ladder sight, marked from 100-1,200 yards and with white-metal inlaid sight lines, ramped bead fore-sight, receiver with thumb cut-out, the ring engraved with the serial number and 'W.R. 318 ACCELERATED EXPRESS.', turned-down bolt, manual flat safety, removable floorplate with military-style release catch, pistolgrip halfstock (cracked at hand), with horn pistolgrip cap and fore-end finial, 13 1/4in. pull including steel buttplate with central trapdoor, sling eyes, weight 7lb. 2oz.

MAUSER 6.5X57 BOLT-MAGAZINE SPORTING RIFLE, serial no. 96616, circa 1920, 25 3/4in. nitro reproved replacement barrel (in 2025), with tangent rear sight graduated from 50 to 1000 metres, ramp-mounted bead foresight, receiver (with thumb cutout) tapped for telescopic sight bases, lever type hinged floorplate, figured three-quarter length pistolgrip stock with 14 1/4in. pull, chequered grip and fore-end, cheekpiece, blued steel pistolgrip-cap, sling swivels and Mauser horn buttplate, small insert repair to toe, stock with circular escutcheon engraved 'M', weight 7lb. 6oz.
