I have a Mauser 98 action from Oberndorf manufacture dated 1918 and on the right side of the receiver ring are these 3 proof marks in a row. I haven't been able to find out any information on them on the web or pictures of them. Is the first one a letter "G" with a crown and the last 2 the letter "E" with a crown? Can anyone tell me anything about them please?
