for 1932, 24in. nitro barrel nitro barrel engraved in bold gothic script 'JOHN RIGBY & CO. 43 SACKVILLE ST. LONDON.' (some wear to bluing), block-mounted open sights with two folding leaf sights with matted fronts, white metal inlaid sight lines and marked for 100, 300 and 400 YDS, block-mounted bead fore-sight, nocksform engraved 'SIGHTED FOR RIGBY'S SPECIAL HIGH VELOCITY .275 BORE CARTRIDGE POINTED BULLET 140GRS.' and original Mauser serial number 60932, receiver (with thumb cutout) with side-mounted scope rail, rear of bolt with Rigby's adjustable peep sight, detachable floorplate with military style release, semi-pistolgrip stock with sling eyes, 14 1/2in. pull including steel buttplate, weight 7lb. 9oz., with a canvas and leather slip
