I’m looking at a custom rifle built on a commercial Orberndorf action. The action is serial number 113529 and has a solid left side wall. Would that serial number be in the 1905 period? The action has a crown over N proof mark, was that used as early as 1905? It is an American custom builder. It is from an online seller so I can’t examine the rifle.
