BTW, those Svedish peep sights are adjustable for windage and elevation. The bottom part slides sideways in it's dovetail while the aperture is screwed into the slide. So the peep is adjustable for elevation in half turn steps. Both parts are locked by tiny set screws. I have such a sight on a B-type Mauser in 9.3x62.




Thanks for this information. So it's similar in operation to the NECG peep sight. I could see it was adjustable for windage but, couldn't see the elevation mechanism and assumed the front sight was for elevation.
