I Just built this rifle. It's not a M98 sorry. It's a Dutch Mannlicher M1895 made by Steyr in 1896. I converted it to 7 x 57 and made it a takedown. The barrel screws in, a screw is inserted in the left side and then the forearm is re-attached and held with a screw. There is a combination tool in the buttstock that is a spanner wrench for the barrel and a screwdriver for the screws. Will blue it later this year.
