For the record in answer to the OP's original question, no it seems that the Mauser carbines, the Type M being one of them, "were not made in calibres 9.3, 10,75 or 404 because their 19.69" barrels were of insufficient length for proper combustion of heavy powder charges" This quoted from Ludwig Olson's book Mauser Bolt Rifles which has an extensive section on the Oberndorf Mauser Sporters. |
