This is a little off point, but it's interesting to me how scarce Type M's in .30-06 seem to be. I've only ever seen one for sale. There are many Type B's in this caliber, and a good many Type A's, but (seemingly) far fewer in Type M. I would think a Type M in .30-06 would be a great hunting rifle.

It's an absolutely splendid, handy, and accurate rifle. What a wonderful woods rifle!
