Yes, indeed, it's the good way.
To inlet it perfectly, the recoil plate is firmly held between the action front bottom recoil wall and the upper part of the cylindrical guide at the front of the magazine box.
For a perfect cohesion this cylindrical guide through which passes the front screw has been modified and shortened by the exact thickness of the recoil plate.
It's binding to do but it's a pleasure to see the plate in place and to know that it fulfills his role correctly.
The screws come after the fitting, only to hold the part in place when dismantling...and also for the show !
