Question is....does the ‘8.0 N’ Marking on an Oberndorf Sporting Mauser automaticity indicate that the bore is .318 instead of the .323? I’m looking at shooting such a rifle with the 8.0 N markings. I know I can slung the bore but the one kit I saw was $40. If everyone who slugged similar rifles and ended up with .318 diameter then I would just skip slugging and reload with .318.
