G'Day Fella's, Mmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm Donuts! Huvius, "What ever Floats your Boat" mate. It would be a boring old world, if we were all the same. Imagine if all of us, only collected one particular Mauser sporter, contract, or time period, it would be mayhem. I'm sure some people do do this but they can probably afford whatever they like as well. As a result of this, we collect or pick up what ever we get a chance purchase, or stumble onto, when it comes along. Whilst I do like some/many Mausers, my may collecting interest, is post WWII commercial sporting rifles. You know, the old BSA, Brno, FN's etc ......... At the moment, I'm working on getting an Anschutz, Model 1845 E (it looks identicle to an FN commercial sporting, 1898 type Mauser). But, it has no "Anschutz" markings on the action, all these details, are roll stamped on the barrel. Avagreatweekendeh! Homer |
