Got this fella last time I made it home. A nice sporter in 8x57. It's a fairly plain rifle and I'm pretty sure it was a sporter from day dot, it just looks too neat to be otherwise. I don't know who made it but it's not too bad all the same. This one didn't shoot too good when I got it, which always seems to happen to me, The fore end had warped on this one and when i stripped it down I could see where the barrel had been bearing on the side of the stock near the tip. Once this was sorted, it shot a hell of a lot better, actually very good. I'm very happy with it in fact.
