Lancaster, here is a picture of the rear sight. It's a standard type. I made the base myself. In fact I made quite a few of the parts and pieces of this rifle myself. It's a wonderful light little carbine, and it shoots as well as I can shoot it. With iron sights the limit is just how well I can see. I am in my 60s now, and I don't have the "young eyes" I used to, but if the sky is clear I still do well enough with iron sights to kill game.
