OK, maybe I'm missing something here....if the Deeley latch retracts the pin in the end of the fore-stock, my question should be....what holds the fore-stock to the barrel?...does the latch do both?....are there separate fore-stock to barrel attachment and fore-stock to action location mechanisms.... or, again, does the latch do both? Does anyone have a pic of the inside of one of these fore-ends removed from the barrel ? ....to me, the location pin ( detent ) would be spring loaded and the Deeley attaches the fore-end to the barrel ? confusedly yours Roger |
