I think the '93 action's are strong enough if they have the correct heat treatment and you don't go getting power crazy with your loads. From all indication's, a reasonably loaded 308 would be maximum...purely my opinion....
One thing I'm hoping someone may be able to supply, is a load comparison between 7.62x51, the 308 and the Cetme round that the '93s were converted to.
