I have a Whitworth in .375 and it is a fine gun. At least it is now after having the mount bases aligned with the barrel and not the action. The thread on the barrel was cut at an angle and the stock made for the 'crooked' barrel angle. ![]() It is however pleasantly styled in the modern classic look, with good checkering, ebony for-end tip, express sights etc. Extremely accurate. 300 gr Woodleighs 3 shot groups cut almost a calibre hole at 100 metres. But while one is fine, another may not be so, so check it out well before buying. I have seen them advertised in the USA for around $700-800. |
