If I ever get my hands on a replacement I'll more than likely hold on to the original wood stock, just as a back up. For what it's worth, my original stock is in 99.9% condition. I've seen, on occasion, original wood stocks for the Mark X's being sold on some of the online gun seller sites. It all depends on what caliber and configuration your rifle is.
