Ben, the recent gavin gardiner auction had a 350 Rigby with step ring. I know of another close by.
My own 350 however is like the one in the photo.
The slanted box on the 400/350 and the 303 is my kryptonite. Both are still eluding my custodianship.
I have seen a few step ring 400/350s recently that have been spared the 375 treatment including the one at Gardiner's. The Rigbys went for real money at that auction though being clean guns with known ownership/history.
I agree on the step ring version. Finding an unalterd one in excellent condition is quite an accomplishment and surely a high watermark in bolt gun collecting.
I still think I made a mistake trading off my 350 instead of something else. Of course I could just buy it back at a premium...ouch!!
