As the finger leaves the trigger it is traveling upwards and backwards. Remember the bolt will be be moving in the same direction. Same in reverse when closing the bolt. A gentle curve to the rear like the CZ550 would help. Most other bolt knobs are above or very slightly forward of the trigger. Reason for the big dog leg in the P14/M17 bolt. Just my preferences is all and certainly would not stop me buying one. |
