Caliber? 7x57 is good. How about an 8x57 necked to 7mm, keeping the shoulder in the same place. I figure it would have maybe 5% more capacity than the 7x57 Mauser. I think I shall call it the 7x57 Shekarry! It would be the best thing since pre-sliced bananas.
