This gun has been on the market for at least five years. The pics are beautiful. Nice rust blue finish,express rear sight. The wood was stained dark and you can see some dents were filled. The front sight hood is missing. The price is excessively high for a gun that would not be considered by a serious collector. When a rare gun needs to be refinished it is because flaws such as pitting or scratches need to be eliminated. I would approach such a gun with caution. What is the condition of the bore? You see only what the owner wants you to see. Not worth half the asking price in my opinion.
I have seen a square bridge magnum MauserType A in .404NE sell in that price range.
