Vlad - what level of heat is used for baking the Gun-Kote? I am curious that baking will not 'lift' or turn the epoxy to crumbly rotten plastic.
I have bedded a number of Mauser Mil actions with pock-marks and bad pitting below the wood line, but using AXLE grease for release agent, never ended up with a "Glu-In".

I agree, this action would make a "fine" truck rifle.
