Love your calibre choice, the .318 can step up to big stuff in the hands of a cool marksman if required. My custom started as an FN like yours, I had a new bolt handle fitted & opted for reworked 1909 bottom metal to add a bit of nostalgia. I agree with my gunsmith who reckons pits etc. add to the character of a rifle....
