Not being of sound mind, I am actually keen on this project becoming a takedown rifle project and in the end two chamberings/calibres, one in .318 Westley Richards, and the second barrel in .275 Rigby/7x57mm. Subject to being able to source a suitably figured piece of walnut matching well enough the original stock colour and figure. Stocked to match the forend design of the early 1900's but modified to allow good scope use with a higher comb.

I am keen to see something at least get started on this finally, but the never ending saga still really has not even begun.
